i was talking abt this w ashley the other day actually i wish YA tumblr had never gotten ahold of tsoa bc they’ve ruined it and treat it on par w fanfic and low-grade YA when it’s. not. they have some things that are ALMOST points but i don’t even want to waste my time expanding on their points bc of the gross oversimplification of it all. theres no nuance. no attribution to the fact that it’s written as a retelling of a myth rather than another one of their weird fetishistic mlm fanfictions. i try to stay awake away from tsoa in tumblr spaces bc the lens it’s approached w does not do it justice and there’s no space to address actual criticisms of it lol
