this made me realize some of my comfort movies are very sad lol but I usually default to movies I loved as a kid, so lots of studio ghibli and disney movies. some stand outs would probably be a little princess, lilo and stitch, emperors new groove, aristocats, the little vampire, zoom academy for superheros, song of the sea, secret of kells, MATILDA!!!, prince of egypt, gifted, twitches, spirit, halloweentown, etc. i’m forgetting a bunch I was a huge movie buff as a kid but yeah tl;dr kids movies lol
