Oh omg i did notice mr curtain and i def thought it was weird, especially given how tied it is to his character and the ways he opposes mr benedict! i guess it just didn’t immediately strike as ableism but more like Hey that’s pretty weird character wise why would they do that
it makes me mad because not only did the decision to take away his wheelchair reek of ableism but also it literally weakened his character! the sunglasses and the wheelchair and the suit… i really hope they’re planning on incorporating an arc where they come into play otherwise what was the reason for all that.
