hi! i was wondering if you wouldn’t mind explaining your thoughts about the ableism you see in the MBS adaptation so far? i thought it was decent and it lined up well with, at the very least, my mental images from the books (ive loved them for a while lol), but i don’t often pick up quickly on certain undertones such as ableism (kinda sucks bc i have adhd among other stuff and like 2 stay aware of these things). if you’d rather wait until it’s all come out then it’s no biggie if u don’t answer this :))!
nothing subtle or nuanced like that it just struck me as odd how both of the wheelchair users didnt make it into the adaptation. it’s especially annoying bc i do like the adaptation very much so far and from where i stand both changes weakened the overall plot and character development. hoping the rest of the show proves me wrong
