have you ever read any ukrainian literature? x
(tbh i'm not even sure how much of it has been translated into other languages let alone mass produced or sold in bookstores but i've seen some old publications of ukrainian classics in english as well as the translations of some modern authors. i wouldn't recommend starting with contemporary ukrainian literature tho because all of our modern authors that i have read have a very specific style of writing that is sometimes hard to adapt to while reading. ie Oksana Zhabuzhko's novels (i think she is somehow more internationally recognised than some of our other authors).)
none that i can specifically recall! i think most east european lit ive read has been russian but i’ll keep that in mind next time i go to pick up a book
