no one takes the time to love THEMSELVES how do you expect to form a relationship with someone when you can’t even form a relationship with yourself because you don’t KNOW yourself. you can’t build a bridge without a starting point

you don’t have to love yourself to be loved but you do have to understand how to live with yourself. your character doesn’t have to be vocalized or categorized but you have to be aware of it and know it’s there
