I'm just like reeling from the Annabeth/tyson conversation going on like okay Annabeth was a traumatized child but Tyson was revealed to literally be the equivalent of like. A toddler or young child. She doesn't get to be mean or prejudiced to/against him for being a cyclops just because she was traumatized by an evil cyclops. Like. She was also traumatized by hellhounds (if I remember correctly that's what found them on halfblood hill where Thalia died right?) but she's fine with Mrs O'leary? (I know it's not the same thing but like. Still) she as a fictional character grows as a character by realizing that Tyson is a different person and has also never done anything to her to make her dislike him other than being a cyclops... Also. Having a "racist phase" literally is still harmful. You don't get to be like "oh but I'm better now!" Okay well what about the people you interacted with back then? They were still harmed. Tyson and Annabeth reconcile and Tyson forgives her but like. If he didn't forgive her he'd be justified and she would have to live with that
